Maja Kohek is a researcher and project coordinator at the International Center for Ethnobotanical Education, Research & Service (ICEERS). She holds a PhD in Medical Anthropology from Universitat Rovira i Virgili and focuses on the contemporary use of psychoactive plants, drug policy, and ethnographic research among user communities. Her work explores the intersection of traditional knowledge, public policy, and the social and cultural dimensions of plant medicines. She has been involved in international research projects, policy discussions, and collaborations related to psychedelics, cannabis, and harm reduction.
