Jakob Manthey is a German researcher who heads the “Substance Use and Public Health” group at the Center for Interdisciplinary Addiction Research (ZIS) of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), with research links to the University of Leipzig. His work focuses on the epidemiology of alcohol and cannabis use, related harms and policy measures, including the evaluation of cannabis regulation in Germany. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications featured on the ICEERS website.
