José Augusto Silva Reis is a Brazilian researcher associated with the research group at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), in collaboration with Rafael G. dos Santos’s team. His work focuses on the clinical study of psychedelic substances, with particular attention to ibogaine, ayahuasca and safety in clinical settings. He has co-authored peer-reviewed studies featured on the ICEERS website, on setting factors and clinical safety in ibogaine administration.
