José Alexandre S. Crippa is Full Professor at the Department of Neurosciences and Behavior of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). A psychiatrist and neuroscientist, he was Honorary Professor at the Institute of Psychiatry, University of London, until 2010. Part of the Brazilian group internationally recognized for its work on cannabidiol, he has authored over 500 peer-reviewed publications on neuropsychiatric disorders and neuropsychopharmacology. He has co-authored studies featured on the ICEERS website on cannabidiol and ayahuasca.
