José Antonio Ramos-Atance is Emeritus Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid. A pioneer of cannabinoid research in Spain since 1988, he directed the Complutense University Research Institute on Neurochemistry until 2017 and co-founded the Spanish Society for Cannabinoid Research. He coordinated the edition of the book Efectos terapéuticos de los cannabinoides, which includes a chapter co-authored by ICEERS featured on the ICEERS website.
