Josep Maria Fábregas

Josep Maria Fábregas is a Catalan psychiatrist with degrees in medical surgery (1978) and psychiatry (1980) from the University of Barcelona. He trained at the Hôpital Marmottan in Paris under Claude Olievenstein, a pioneer in the modern understanding of addiction. Founder and medical director of Clínicas CITA, a leading addiction treatment center in Spain, and a member of the Beckley Foundation, he has co-authored peer-reviewed studies featured on the ICEERS website on the long-term effects of ayahuasca on substance use.
