Lívia Soman de Medeiros is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP, Diadema). Trained in organic chemistry at UFSCar with a doctoral stay at the Technical University of Denmark and postdoctoral research at DTU and USP, her work focuses on natural products, mass spectrometry, fungal and plant metabolites and metabolomics. She has co-authored a peer-reviewed study featured on the ICEERS website on long-term ayahuasca use, cognitive function and memory.
