Margarita Torrente is Professor of Psychobiology at the Department of Psychology of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona) and a researcher at the URV NEUROLAB, where she directs the research area on Neuropsychology and Emotions. Her work focuses on brain health and aging, cognitive decline and dementia, with attention to modifiable risk factors such as lifestyle, gut microbiota and exposure to environmental pollutants. She has co-authored peer-reviewed studies featured on the ICEERS website on the neuropsychological effects of cannabis.
