Mariano García de Palau was medical director of Kalapa Clinic, a Barcelona-based clinic specialized in the therapeutic use of cannabis and cannabinoids. He has co-authored peer-reviewed publications featured on the ICEERS website, including a chapter on the development of medical cannabis programs and the risks associated with cannabis treatments, in the book Efectos terapéuticos de los cannabinoides, edited by the Complutense University of Madrid.
