Violeta Schubert is Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Melbourne, co-chief investigator of the multidisciplinary Global Ayahuasca Project, and co-founder of the Medicinal Psychedelics Research Network. Her research explores culture, healing, gender, and kinship, with a focus on how social, cultural, and political dimensions shape wellbeing and health equity. She has been a key contributor to large-scale global studies on ayahuasca use and mental health outcomes.
