Comms

Alex Verdaguer is ICEERS’ Communications Lead. He is a graphic designer trained at Elisava University and a social communications professional with over 25 years of experience, specialized in the field of psychoactive substances and master plants. Throughout his career, he has worked as a designer and communications consultant across the private sector, civil society organizations, and public institutions, bringing a creative and strategic approach to complex and sensitive contexts.

Naturally curious, he found in design a doorway into a broader vocation: communication as a tool for social impact. His work combines strategic thinking with an obsessive attention to detail, caring equally about clarity of message and the coherence of aesthetics and narrative.

Deeply interested in people and human behavior, Alex has pursued a long-term parallel path in psychology. He has completed two master’s degrees—one in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and another in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)—integrating these perspectives into how he understands human processes, culture, and social change.

Outside the office, you’ll likely find him on nature adventures with his family, planning bike journeys to remote places, reading about psychology, or getting lost in the lives of film characters.
