Jean-Jacques ‘Sonny’ Perseil is a French political scientist, PhD in Political Science from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and habilitated to direct research (HDR) in political science and management sciences. Based at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (CNAM) in Paris, where he is a member of the Scientific Council and helped launch the Lirsa research lab, he edits the online journal Politiques des drogues. His research focuses on drug policy, institutionalized discrimination and social work professions.
