Joost Heeroma is a Dutch neuroscientist with a PhD, founder of Heeroma Biomedical, who previously worked at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy, Institute of Neurology, University College London. His research has focused on electrophysiology, synaptic plasticity, ion channels and neural network activity, including epilepsy and gene therapy approaches. He has co-authored peer-reviewed studies featured on the ICEERS website on the effects of cannabidiol and THC on social cognition.
