Luís Fernando Tófoli is Professor of Psychiatry at the School of Medical Sciences of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, with a medical degree, psychiatric specialty, and PhD in Psychiatry from the University of São Paulo. He heads UNICAMP’s Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Studies on Psychoactive Substances (LEIPSI) and the Interdisciplinary Cooperation for Ayahuasca Research and Outreach (ICARO). His work spans mental health in primary care, drug policy and the therapeutic use of psychedelics, particularly ayahuasca.
