Maria Fernanda Boidi is a Uruguayan researcher (PhD), Director of Fieldwork and Regional Partnerships at LAPOP Lab (Vanderbilt University) and director of Insights Research & Consulting. Co-founder of the Latin American Marijuana Research Initiative (LAMRI), her work focuses on public policy, party systems and public opinion in Latin America, with particular attention to cannabis regulation in Uruguay. She has co-authored a peer-reviewed study featured on the ICEERS website comparing cannabis social club regulation in Spain, Belgium and Uruguay.
