Tre Borràs is a psychiatrist and head of the Drug Dependence Unit at Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus, one of Spain’s leading addiction treatment centers. She co-directed with José Carlos Bouso the first randomized clinical trial with ibogaine for opioid dependence conducted by ICEERS, testing a novel low-dose ascending protocol to support people withdrawing from methadone.
