Juliana Mendes Rocha is a Brazilian psychiatric nurse at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (HCFMRP-USP), with a master’s and ongoing PhD in Mental Health from FMRP-USP. Her research focuses on the effects of ayahuasca and cannabidiol on emotional processing and the endocannabinoid system, and on ibogaine in alcohol use disorders. She completed a doctoral research stay at URV/ICEERS and co-founded the Acalma harm reduction collective.
