Human rights run through every dimension of ICEERS’s work: the rights of Indigenous peoples to their cultural and spiritual practices, the right to health, the right to freedom of thought and belief, the protection of people from disproportionate criminalization linked to drug policy, and the right to access traditional medicines. ICEERS engages with UN human rights bodies, courts and parliaments to ensure that policies on psychoactive plants and substances are grounded in human rights standards. This page gathers content related to that work.
