Magí Farré is Full Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Head of the Clinical Pharmacology Unit at Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol in Badalona. A medical doctor (MD, PhD) with a specialty in Clinical Pharmacology, he is one of the few Spanish researchers in the field of human pharmacology of psychoactive substances and medicines. His work covers pharmacokinetics, acute and chronic effects, and pharmacogenetics of cannabis, MDMA and other psychoactive compounds.
